My very first Solo recording. Recorded on the beautiful Aurea Stradivari from 1715 I am exceedingly proud of this project with the Solo Sonatas by Bartok, Veress, Zimmerman and Isang Yun as well as my own adaption of the chromatic fantasy.
The sound is powerful and due to very close miking extremely revealing - You're only young and bold once, and that was it!

This is a terrific recording, testament to our irresistible duo "percussion strings" . I tell you; we could move heaven to tears; or as the Basle Newspaper in that time said: "They play dangerously as if on a tightrope without a safety net!"
More to the point: This is my first recording with Sound Engineer Andreas Werner, with whom I have started working again, and will do so for quite some projects! He captures my sound as I hear it.
